New, modern simulator of articular mouth movements, named after the Rainieri dental technicians, its inventors.

A NEW INSTRUMENT DESIGNED TO SIMULATE THE FOUR UNIQUE PHYSIOLOGICAL MOVEMENTS IN A CORRECT MANNER.

This simple and modern dental articulator gives the dental technician and dentist the possibility to maneuver only the lower branch (jaw), lowering and retracting it in a more correct way, in order to take advantage of the necessary natural movements that the human body makes. Only in this sense is it possible to construct a prosthetic articulator that is decisively more realistic and credible, to benefit those patients who require a prosthetic restoration more aligned to their personal needs.

The RAINIERI Articulator® is manufactured entirely by our company, Setvis-Fisat, using the machinery in our finishing department, more specifically numerically controlled milling machines and turning machines, assembly benches with dedicated processing areas, and finally, vibrating ball mills to obtain glossy surfaces. All avant-garde implants that produce the highest constructive precision in the articulator with very narrow tolerances, characteristics which have defined the success of many of our products. During the assembly phase each articulator is manually assembled and calibrated, passing a meticulous and rigid inspection.

RAINIERI ARTICULATOR: THE NEEDS OF TWO DENTAL TECHNICIANS FOR A MORE PRECISE AND REALISTIC WORKING INSTRUMENT RESULTED IN A NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE PRODUCT

The recent history of the Rainieri articulator is represented by the idea and intuition of a former dental technician, Luigi Rainieri, and his son Pasquale Rainieri.
Their dedicated observation, their many years of professional dental technician experience, combined with the need for a more precise and realistic working instrument were the foundations for this new product. Setvis, backed up by thirty years of experience constructing the well-known Galetti Articulator, decided to engineer and produce the ideas of the Ranieri’s.

RAINIERI ARTICULATOR® – BEWARE OF IMITATIONS

Attention, the brand “Rainieri® four real movements” is a registered trademark for all dental technician products, and the articulator of the same name is protected by an industrial patent.

The commercialization of the original Rainieri Articulator is exclusively in the packaging illustrated in the PHOTO section.

Simulation of physiological movements

1. Bennett Angle at 15° suitable for obtaining an average value.
2. Protrusion with descending inclination, from 0 to 1-1.5 or 2 millimeters with maximum protrusion track up to 9 millimeters.
3. Retrusion, inverse track to the protrusion ascending up to the lower stops.
4. Right and left lateral movements, with track descending from 0 to 1- 1.5 – 2 millimeters up to a maximum lateral track of 9 millimeters.
5. Application of 3 control shafts for determination of the occlusal plane along the entire width and for more control in order to verify perfect synchronicity of contact with more certainty between the upper and lower diatoric teeth. Furthermore, during the initial implant construction phase the operator can insert the front shaft without ever losing vertical dimension.
In this way, visualization of the construction, modeling or application of the upper and lower incisors with more precision is facilitated. After this operation replace the central shaft to then proceed with necessary controls on all the applied elements.
6. An indicator of the incisal point (height adjustable) through the opening and blocking screws.
7. Two plates under the rear shafts (plates).
8. Incisal plate at 13 degrees.
9. The four physiological movements are commanded through slight pressure of a finger in an alternating or simultaneous single front track, positioned beneath the two support shafts on the lower branch and adjusted by a fluid movement on the balls and two telescopic cylinders, which adjust the track up to a maximum length of 9 mm. For each single searched movement, the following are obtained: Protrusion, Retrusion, right Lateral Value and left Lateral Value until reaching construction of the STOPS.
